The staff members of AEG have worked on many small to large size projects for public agencies, private agencies, and contractors. They have worked on bridge, building (residential and commercial), industrial, facilities, roadway, rehabilitation/retrofit, inspection, stormwater management, stream restoration, management, and construction projects.

SR 0345/SR 0724 over Hay Creek, Birdsboro, Berks County, PennDOT District 5-0
AEG was recently awarded this Design/Build project with Clearwater Construction in PennDOT District 5-0. The existing bridge is a structurally deficient bridge. The existing single span structure will be fully replaced with a 70 feet long single span skewed structure, which will carry two lanes of traffic on SR 0345/SR 0724 with sidewalk on both sides over Hay Creek. The proposed bridge is a composite adjacent box beam superstructure supported over full height concrete abutments. AEG will provide bridge design, roadway design, foundation design, signing and pavement marking, Erosion and Sedimentation (E&S) control plans, Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) plans, Right-of-Way (ROW) plans, GP-11 Permit, surveying, and coordination with various agencies including PennDOT, DEP, and Township.

Recreational Path between Shawmont Avenue and Port Royal Avenue and between Port Royal Avenue and the Montgomery County line, Philadelphia, PennDOT District 6-0/ City of Philadelphia
AEG was recently awarded this Design/Build project with Tony DePaul & Son in PennDOT District 6-0/City of Philadelphia, Department of Streets. This project is for constructing new off-road 10-foot trail section between Shawmont Avenue and Port Royal Avenue, and widening the existing path to a 12-foot width between Port Royal Avenue and the Montgomery County line, just north of Nixon Street from Shawmont Avenue to Port Royal Avenue, and along the existing Schuylkill River Trail from Port Royal Avenue to the Montgomery County line. AEG will provide structural design of three retaining walls, Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) control plans, surveying, and coordination with various agencies.

SR 4003 Bridge over Indian Creek, Lehigh Township, Northampton County, PennDOT District 5-0
AEG was recently awarded this Design/Build project with Grace Industries Inc. in PennDOT District 5-0. This project involves replacement of the existing stone masonry dual arch bridge with a single-span precast concrete arch bridge over Indian Creek. Traffic will be detoured during construction. The bridge is located on S.R. 4003, Section 01B, in Northampton County, Lehigh Township. The project limits are approximately 100 feet East of the existing bridge at segment 0150 offset 0016 to approximately 125 feet West of the existing bridge at segment 0150 offset 0278. AEG will provide bridge design, roadway design, foundation design, signing and pavement marking, Erosion and Sedimentation (E&S) control plans, Maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT) plans, Right-of-Way (ROW) plans, GP-11 Permit, surveying, and coordination with various agencies including PennDOT, DEP, and Township.
SR 145 Safety Project, Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PennDOT District 5-0
AEG was recently awarded this project with Muschlitz Excavating, Inc. in PennDOT District 5-0. This project includes the widening and reconstruction of SR 145 to remove the railroad and Lehigh Street overpass structures, construct an at grade intersection at Lehigh St, install center concrete barrier, islands, turn lanes, and replace the bridge at Municipal Drive with a concrete box culvert and other roadway items including traffic signals, guiderail, drainage, curbing, sidewalk, lighting, and signing and pavement markings and other miscellaneous construction for SR 145, Section 08S in Lehigh County, Whitehall Township, from approximately the Eberhart Road intersection at segment 0140 offset 3090 NB and segment 0141 offset 3017 SB to approximately the Church Street intersection at segment 0180 offset 0050 NB and segment 0181 offset 0050 SB for a total approximate length of 6548.45 feet (1.24 miles). AEG will provide construction surveying and CPM scheduling services on this project.
Structural Engineering Services, Licenses and Inspections, City of Philadelphia, PA
AEG was recently awarded a miscellaneous order to provide structural engineering services to Licenses and Inspections Department of City of Philadelphia. Under this miscellaneous order, AEG will perform structural inspections of commercial/residential buildings, prepare structural evaluation reports, and provide recommendations for rehabilitation and/or replacement of the buildings in the City of Philadelphia. AEG will also provide surveying and miscellaneous civil engineering services under this contract.
